Michael Burks
Michael Burks was called to fill in a musical void created when Little Boy Flowers and Barry Cuba couldn't make the fest. And fill it he did, as this Handy award-winner worked the crowd into an guitar-inspired case of Blues fever. Absolutely amazing fretwork, ala a certain Jimi!

Michael Burks

Delbert McClinton
Delbert McClinton was the final act of the evening, and brought the crowd the gift of his amazing vocal talent. Blessed with the ability to lull the crowd with a smokey ballad, only to have everyone on thier feet dancing with the very next song, nobody can move you like Delbert McClinton. And what a powerful brass sound!

Delbert McClinton

Delbert McClinton
Quite a large crowd that just couldn't get close enough to Delbert McClinton. Delbert showed the love he feels for his fans, shaking hands and signing autographs as he performed for them. A great ending to yet another annual
Sparta Blues Fest
