We have also added a main stage acoustic showing for Saturday, June 25th, from 10 AM to Noon. It is in part being sponsored by the Cross Currents Culture Unlimited folk organization of Kansas City. They also will host acoustic sets inside Club Paradox on Saturday, June 25th, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Some of our featured acts will include Ida McBeth, Bobby Rush, Chick Willis, James "Sparky" and Rhonda Rucker, The Scamps, D.C. Bellamy, Lee McBee, The Wild Women, Linda Shell, Everette DeVan, Cotton Candy, Lester "Wizard" King, Bill Carter, a ton of gospel acts, Danny Cox, and more. For the full lineup, visit our website at www.kckstreetbluesfest.com.

The "Living Heritage Tribute Show" will feature for the first time a Queen, Ida McBeth.

Club Paradox will host after-festival shows on Friday, June 24th, and Saturday, June 25th, starting at 8:00 PM each night until ?? Acts will be named soon. It's guaranteed to be a great time again this year. Club Paradox is located at the festival grounds, and is noted as one of the best juke joints in the country!!!

We have a new president for the festival, Chris Wright. Chris has again secured a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) (2003 and 2005, respectively) to use for the festival's expenses. We are still as always under budget, and are only able to do minimal advertising. So word of mouth is very critical to our success. Please help in any way that you can. Hope to see you there.
