 Kelley
and her husband Al are friends of STLBlues, and spent a few
minutes visiting with us before her show. On her way through
St. Louis onto Nashville, and then embarking on some East Coast
dates, Kelley is busier than ever, it seems. "I've been
doing some songwriting, and look forward to having a new CD
come out in 2006".
On hand for this show was none other than Frances Johnson, wife
of the late, great Johnnie Johnson.
Johnnie, Frances and Kelley became close friends, with Kelley
and Johnnie performing together whenever possible. Frances remarked
of Kelleys performance, "she just keeps getting better
and better"....we'll have to agree!
We'll have a review soon of Kelley's self-titled debut CD, and
will feature that soon in the CD of the Week section. In the
