Showcase At Lemmons |
Lemmons is proud and excited
to be welcoming the 2005 XMG Major Lambel Showcase on January
27th, 28th, 29th and 30th. For almost 3 years we have been providing
St. Louis with many thrilling and eclectic shows both in our original
basement bar setting and now upstairs on the main floor. Our talented
staff of sound engineers, bartenders and cooks are ready for the
challenge the 2005 XMG Major Label Showcase will provide. This
is an exciting opportunity for area musicians as well as for all
music lovers. The musicians will be able to have their performances
seen and judged by representatives from many major labels. Music
fans will be able to see nearly 150 different regional bands in
a 4 day period. We also will still be serving the incredible Blackthorn
style pizza that has won many awards from readers and critics
alike as well as our normal delicious menu. Lemmons is located
at 5800 Gravois in St. Louis, Mo. The following is the press release

Extreme Music Group and St. Louis renowned Lemm'ns will be hosting
the 2005 XMG Major Label Showcase in St. Louis, Missouri on January
27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th located at Lemmons. Lemmon's is located
at 5800 Gravois Street, Saint Louis, Missouri 63116. This event
allows up and coming bands, singers, and songwriters of all genres
and types of music to perform two complete songs to A&R Representatives
from three Major Record Labels and many other independent labels,
publishers, managers, and booking agencies that are invited to
attend this huge event. When an artist is finished performing,
they will have the opportunity to receive an individual written
evaluation of their performance from each of the Major Record
Labels and have all of their questions personally answered by
the A&R Representatives on who, what, and where their music
career needs to go. All artists are welcome to attend the showcase.
For an artist to participate in this event and have their music
heard, they need to contact the showcase director toll free at
(866) 964-6874 immediately. This event will be sold out.
This event is also open to the general public. The public is invited
to enjoy the many different artists of all genres and types that
will be performing for the major record labels and many other
music industry professionals. There will be a $10.00 cover charge
for all that wish to attend the event that are not performing.
The cover charge is covers one person for the entire day of the
event, from 10:00 am to the last artist performing that evening
around 10:00 pm.
The 3 Major Record Label Representatives will be available for
television and radio interviews at Lemmons with a scheduled time
