Wanted to give you the scoop before you heard it from somewhere else. Yesterday (April 24th), I was given an audition to play in a back-up band for Blind Pig Records recording artist Hamilton Loomis. I passed the audition and will begin touring with the band throughout the country in July. This means that I will be leaving many of my St. Louis gigs permanently, and only making impromptu performances in town at all. Hamilton is a great guitar player and singer based out of Austin Texas, and while I won't be moving to Texas just yet, I'm very excited for this opportunity to do some travel and to play with such great musicians. In the meantime I will keep all of my St. Louis area performances as scheduled up until the end of June, so I hope to see you all at one or two of them. I will post my May schedule this week.
