It's a world class festival, and even with the floods
of LeClaire park forcing a venue move 4 days before
the fest, it turned out spectacularly. A testament
to the abilities of the Mid
Mississippi Valley Blues Society, and the cooperation
of the City of Davenport, IA.
The weather was superb, and so
was the lineup of great Blues. Some great slide guitar
by Jimmy Thackery, the soaring vocals of Theresa James,
and of course the Queen of the Blues, Koko Taylor.
