CD is chocked full of outstanding blues tracks
with guitar, soulful vocals, backing piano and
a solid bass shuffle throughout. In fact there
are sixteen songs that are all rich in the bluesy.
The Dallas-based blues guitarist, singer and
songwriter Bob Kirkpatrick has been performing
the blues for over thirty years. It’s been
since 1973 when Kirkpatrick recorded prior to
Drive Across Texas. This CD is a great blues recording. Too Much Time was great
with a bluesy fifties rock sound. Born In Louisiana
has great vocals, harp solo and quick rhythm.
Each song is really good. Get this CD and play often. If down south be
sure to plan on seeing Bob Kirkpatrick.
