West Coast Blues phenom Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers rocked the BOB last Sunday night, to a full house of Blues fans. Honey Piazza, a protege of Otis Spann, worked the 88's to perfection! The show stopper, at least for STLBlues, was the crowd walk of Rod, as he demonstrated his magic with an outstanding solo harp display. He had the crowd going wild, as he made his way through and over the tables on the BOB patio!

STLBlues spent a few minutes talking to Rod, who informed STLBlues that he's on a Midwest tour, traveling Iowa, Kansas, and several other states. I informed Rod that the guy dancing stageside - Beatle Bob - made this show an official 'happening'. Rod said "I wondered who that cat was".

Just another great show at the BOB. Thanks goes out to Shannon - the newest STLBlues contributor - for submitting her photos!
