Just a note to tell you that the JellyRoll All-Stars, consisting
of Arthur Williams, Willie "Big Eyes" Smith, Calvin
"Fuzz" Jones, Sam Carr, Jesse Hoggard and Bob Lohr have
just been confirmed as the headlining act at the Mississippi Delta
Blues & Heritage Festival on Saturday 9/18/04 in Greenville,
Mississippi (south of Clarksdale on the Mississippi River). Along
with the King Biscuit and Sunflower Blues festivals, the annual
Mississippi Delta Blues & Heritage Festival is considered
the top "real deal" blues fest in the world and to be
booked as the headliner is a real honor. In other JellyRoll All-Star
news, the first JRA CD will be released in August on the Severn
label. Finally, Arthur Williams has been nominated once again
as Harp Player of the Year by the critics at Living Blues Magazine,
so keep your fingers crossed for Arthur!
