  The 2005 Big Muddy Festival

Bennie Smith & Henry Townsend :: Patriarchs of St. Louis BluesSt. Louis, a river city long known for its place on the Blue Highway that stretches from the Delta all the way to Chicago. A city that is home to Blues patriarchs such as Henry Townsend & Bennie Smith, and a red-hot Blues scene! This years Big Muddy promises to be an artistic success, after all, it does showcase that St. Louis sound! Recent news in the Post-Dispatch indicated there might only be 1 stage, and little local talent.

Just read the schedule below, and you'll see that's not so! Once again, the Big Muddy will showcase the rich heritage of that St. Louis Blues sound, along with some great national talent. So show up St. Louis, and let's collectively show the true love of the Blues we all have, and help keep the Blues alive! Print out our schedule, and then send this page to all your Blues Lovin' friends - we'll see you there! For more info, please visit the grass roots Big Muddy site at www.BigMuddyBlues.com - brought to you by STLBLues! All the Fest FAQ's, photo galleries and more can be found there. Feel free to leave your comments - good and bad - in the Big Muddy guestbook, the only online public forum for Big Muddy fans!
